“Teddy Bears vs. Bed Bugs” Dev Blog #1: The Plan

Hello! Welcome to my first ever dev blog! This is my first try, so if I do something wrong or you think of ways I can improve, let me know please. Hopefully I can make this a bi-weekly or even weekly thing, as of right now the last weeks of school are tough so it will be bi-weekly for a bit. Though as I progress more, I may update you guys more often.
The game will be a 3d tower defense game, teddy bears being the good and bed bugs being the bad. I have taken some inspiration from games like Sanctum 2 and Bloons, and hope to make a game up to par with them.
Currently on the game itself, I have no progress. I do however have my ideas and planning all laid out and ready to go. I made a google docs and trello.com page to get myself organized. On my previous games, I hadn't really ever put that much time into planning, but I soon learned is crucial, so you should plan too. Don't want to end up almost done your game and find out two of your main mechanics don't work together!
Here's some pictures of some sketches I made, which are my visions for what the game will (hopefully) look like. (Sorry about the quality, not a photographer). It's not a lot right now, but it's helping me to keep my ideas clear and keep me on track.
So that's really it! Like I said, this is my first post, and this first one is more for me to get this all set up. I promise the next one will be better, and contain a lot more content.
