Unity VR Engineer
VR THA (Virtual Reality Total Hip Arthroplasty) developed in Unity, takes orthopedic surgeons in training through an 11-step interactive simulation.
We track metrics such as the accuracy of the incision, detection of anatomy, and the rotation of the leg allowing for real-time feedback and learning.
The transparency of the muscles, tendons, and skin is manipulated by the controller allowing for novel learning techniques and feedback.
A series of operating tools are controlled by the user to simulate real-world steps of the surgical process.
