Porting the Simulation (4)
WaterPOD is the most recent iteration of the simulation across 4 different platforms: Head Mounted VR, Immersive Display VR (Mechdyne CAVE), Web, and Tablet. The inputs/controls are modified for each to provide a similar user experience and progression.
VR Minigames
Minigames were made that use the joystick to control a claw machine, pressure gauges, and dials. These helped to immerse the user and allow them to interact with the treatment areas first hand.
My Role - Lead Developer
- Ported the simulation across 4 platforms: Head Mounted VR, Immersive Display VR (Mechdyne CAVE), Web, and Tablet
- Programmed user interactions/minigames to allow users to control aspects of their environment
- Localized the simulation and included closed-captions to increase accessibility and inclusivity
